A surprising discovery has been made in the Everdune – a small group of pandas! A small group of these rare, adorable creatures has somehow made its way through the desert, but their survival in these lands isn’t guaranteed. If they’re going to stay, they’ll need food, shelter, and protection. Take part in events to keep them happy, help them settle in, and maybe even grow their numbers. With a little effort, they might just decide to make Soulbound their home.

Patch Update Summary
This week we’re mostly focusing on bug fixes – nice and simple. But we’ve also got a shiny new Premium Store Vendor we’re testing out, plus some changes to our vendor system. Now vendors can operate locally for individual players with their own cooldowns – or, if needed, remain global. We’ve also introduced a new player skill level that you can inspect on others – I’m curious to hear what you think of that.
You’ll notice we’ve added a way to search the quest list by NPC name – it won’t feel super relevant yet, but it’ll help a lot once next week’s quest revamp rolls out.
One big heads up: we’re shifting our domain from play.webb.game to play.soulbound.game, and this is going to involve an extended maintenance. You’ll have to re-log once we wrap that up – we appreciate your patience!
New Premium Vendor
We’ve introduced a new premium vendor in the game – this vendor is where you can purchase premium cosmetics and items using our new premium currency, SoulBits. Here’s how it works:
- You’ll see a Shop button in-game – clicking it will prompt you to buy SoulBits if you don’t already have any.
- SoulBits can appear as a reward from time to time – but primarily you buy SoulBits through the Discord shop.
- If you haven’t connected your Discord account – you’ll be prompted to do so when attempting to purchase SoulBits.
- Once connected – you can open the Discord shop, buy SoulBits, and return to the game to spend it on the premium vendor’s rotating stock (including cosmetics, limited items, and a Welcome Pack).
- Certain items, like potions or food, are limited in how many times they can be purchased per player, per period – preventing endless re-purchases.
- The aim is to make it easy for new and existing players who come through Discord to acquire cool gear, cosmetics, and other items without having to grind extensively – while also letting them enjoy new ways to support and engage with the game.
Features
- Added the ability to search the quest list by NPC name, allowing players to find quests associated with specific NPCs more easily. [TECH-8033]
- Players can now view each other’s average skill level when hovering over another player, in the context menu, and within the player profile. A new tooltip displaying the level and name appears on the top right of the screen when hovering. This update enhances social interactions by allowing players to flex their achievements and facilitates content gating based on player levels. [TECH-7644]
- Added a new flashy button on the mini-map to open the ‘Premium Vendor’, aimed at increasing player access and interaction with the store. [TECH-7782]
- Implemented new sound effects for each skill level up, triggering alongside the level up text and box above the player’s head. Skills include strength, foraging, hacking, crafting, gear-forging, dexterity, marksmanship, knowledge, technology, mining, farming, fishing, cooking, and chemistry. [GAME-3752]
- Introduced new sound effects for achievements, including a sound for on-screen display and another for claiming the achievement. [GAME-3728]
Improvements
- Updated the sound effects for several abilities to enhance the audio experience. Key abilities like Drone, Heal Pulse, Kusarigama, Minigun, Gleam Twins, and Machine Gun now have improved and more consistent sounds. [GAME-3649]

- Fixed an issue where pets were not teleported with their owners when using in-map teleportation, rectifying unexpected pet disappearance on routes. [QA-2348]
- Fixed a crash that occurred when players pressed the ‘Leave’ prompt while in town after attempting to leave a route and returning to the exit in a party. [KUDOS-91]
- Fixed an issue where continuous mouse movement could be activated in dungeon combat if a mouse input was timed precisely at the start of the room. [QA-2346]
- Fixed a bug where the Homedisc V3 would go on cooldown without any effect when used in dungeons. This was a design oversight, and players can no longer utilize the Homedisc in dungeons to prevent misuse. [TECH-7921, reported by User 01HW3FV4VPXTY2RK052F6EHDXH]

- Potion buffs have been changed from flat values to percentage-based values to better reflect the new formula. This includes adjustments to damage, CDR, dodge chance, critical strike chance, and speed potions, as well as unique stims like Beserker, Ironclad, Hyper-concentration, and Glory. Food buffs for maxHP and damage have been divided by 10. [DES-1577]
