Recently, the Soulbound team came together in a huge Ask Me Anything (AMA) to answer all of your burning questions. We had an amazing time, and it was wonderful to see so many people getting involved. Lots of team members joined for the AMA, including Soulbound’s director, release manager, members of the QA and design teams, the CTO, and the community manager.
What You Missed…
You can watch the full AMA through this link Soulbound: Online — AMA 1 July 2026 – YouTube, but here is a selection of the topics discussed based on your questions.
Avoiding a Stagnant Meta
To prevent Soulbound: Online from becoming stagnant, the team discussed the introduction of a large variety of abilities and relics. This would make every dungeon run unique and provide players with ample opportunity for experimentation and the creation of a personalised playstyle.
Buff Vs Nerf
One of the questions asked during the AMA was whether the developers prefer to balance abilities by nerfing or buffing them. Rather than nerfing interesting abilities, the team explained that they would always prefer to buff underutilized builds to keep gameplay fresh and exciting.
Guilds
The expansion of guilds has been a common question and is definitely in Soulbound’s roadmap. Many plans are already in development, including guild bases and other additions that will add more depth to the guild system.
New Content
New content is on the horizon. During the AMA, the team shared that they plan to ship regular updates featuring new dungeons, raids, and quests. This is already underway with the Spectra Raid launching very soon…
Inventory Extension
Following player feedback, a way to expand your inventory has been added to Soulbound: Online. This can already be seen in Early Access in the form of a belt tool pouch.
Raids and PVP
The team shared their many thoughts about PvP in MMOs thanks to a great question during the AMA. Soulbound: Online is currently PvE focused, and will likely stay that way; however, player vs player has not been completely ruled out for future discussions. Additionally, the raid system is currently being explored, and much larger 20-player raids are being tested.

If you have questions you want answered, stay tuned; we will be hosting another AMA in August. We hope to see you there!
