Rules of Soulbound

These rules exist to protect the integrity of Soulbound, ensure fairness, support a safe and respectful community, and clarify what conduct may lead to warnings, mutes, or permanent bans. All players are expected to follow these rules at all times, both in and out of game.

1. Introduction

Soulbound is a multiplayer action RPG. These rules govern your conduct while playing, interacting with, or transacting within the Soulbound ecosystem. By creating an account or using the game, you agree to follow these rules, our Terms & Conditions, EULA, and Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to mute, suspend, or permanently ban any account that violates these rules.

2. Real World Trading (RWT)

Strictly prohibited for Soulbound Virtual Items.

You may not:

  • Sell, buy, or trade in-game items, gold, or services for real-world money
  • Offer in-game progression or accounts in exchange for external value
  • Pay others to play your account

RWT involving in-game items may result in bans.

3. Macroing, Bots, and Third-Party Software

You may not:

  • Use bots, macros, auto-clickers, or automated scripts
  • Use software to control, assist, or replicate gameplay activity
  • Use programs that modify, inject into, or read from the game client or web browser

Soulbound must be played manually by humans. If you cheat using any kind of automation, even once, you risk a permanent ban.

4. Exploiting Bugs or Unintended Mechanics

You must not:

  • Use, share, or replicate any bug or exploit to gain an advantage
  • Attempt to break game mechanics through unconventional sequences
  • Share exploit information publicly or privately

If you discover a bug, report it via the official channels. Exploiting will lead to bans; reporting will be rewarded.

5. Inappropriate Language or Behaviour

Soulbound is a global, inclusive community. You may not:

  • Use slurs, hate speech, or targeted harassment
  • Spam or flood chat channels
  • Bully, threaten, or intimidate other players
  • Post or share sexually explicit, discriminatory, or offensive content

Light swearing may be tolerated, but excessive or abusive language will result in a mute or ban.

6. Scamming and Dishonest Conduct

You may not:

  • Deceive or trick players to gain items or services
  • Advertise fake giveaways, promotions, or rewards
  • Abuse the trade system to mislead others
  • Promise one thing and deliver another in any form of trade

All scams are treated seriously. We do not mediate trust trades—use the trade system properly or not at all.

7. Games of Chance / Gambling

You may not:

  • Host or promote games that involve luck-based outcomes with item or currency wagering
  • Use in-game mechanics or third-party tools to simulate gambling
  • Participate in giveaway scams or item “doubling” schemes

Gambling in any form is strictly prohibited and will result in account bans.

8. Account Sharing, Selling & Impersonation

You may not:

  • Share your account with others
  • Buy or sell accounts or login credentials
  • Claim to be Soulbound staff or moderators

All accounts are licensed, not owned. Shared access undermines player identity and will result in bans.

Official Soulbound staff will never ask for your password. Staff usernames are verified and marked in all communications.

9. Solicitation and Personal Information

Soulbound is not a dating platform. You may not:

  • Ask other players for relationships or personal information
  • Share your real name, email, address, or phone number
  • Request personal information from others

This rule protects user safety and aligns with the Children’s Code and UK GDPR.

10. Multi-Logging and Fair Play

Players may own multiple accounts, but must not:

  • Use them to gain unfair advantages (e.g., rigged minigames)
  • Interact between accounts to manipulate systems or results

You may trade between your own accounts using official systems at your own risk.

12. Encouraging Rule Breaking

Encouraging or helping someone else to break these rules is treated the same as breaking the rule yourself.

  • Don’t organize schemes to evade detection
  • Don’t promote bad behavior to new players
  • Don’t play lawyer in DMs trying to bend rules

13. Fan Sites, Tools, and Communities

We love fan-run tools and Discords, but they must:

  • Follow these Rules and all applicable Terms
  • Not promote cheating, scams, or rule-breaking
  • Be clear that they are unofficial and not endorsed by Soulbound

14. Appeals, Mutes, and Bans

If your account is muted or banned, you may submit an appeal through the official process. Some severe offenses may not be appealable.

We log all reports and use both automated and human moderation systems. Repeated rule-breaking reduces your chances of successful appeal.

15. Moderation & Reporting

  • Use the in-game or Discord reporting tools to flag rule-breaking
  • Reports are reviewed either manually or through our AI-powered moderation system
  • We reserve the right to act on any content that breaks the spirit of the rules—even if not explicitly listed

Reports involving threats, harassment, or personal safety are always prioritized.

17. Final Thoughts

We’re here to create a fair, inclusive, and creative environment for everyone. Play fair. Be kind. And help us keep Soulbound an amazing place to play.
