Patch 5.25 – Fixes & Improvements

In this update, we’ve focused on refining the overall game experience by tightening up core mechanics and user interactions to create a smoother and more intuitive environment. Several areas have seen significant attention—from enhancing how in-game companions move and interact with players to ensuring interactive elements in tutorials and key interfaces behave as expected. We’ve also zeroed in on bugs that previously interfered with progression and gameplay fluidity, such as issues with reward tokens, UI bugs, and unintended collisions during critical game sequences.

Improvements

  • Improved pet movement to ensure pets maintain a defined radius around players without hovering over them, enhancing player visibility and interaction with the game environment. [TECH-10762]

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where adding liquidity to the in-game Instant Exchange did not grant the Liquidity Keeper (LK) token, preventing players from withdrawing or earning fees. Players experiencing this issue should now receive LK tokens as intended. [TECH-11056]
  • Fixed an issue where players would become stuck at the Crafting Table in the Tutorial, particularly during the sword crafting step due to collision or interaction problems. [TECH-11058]
  • Fixed an issue where the Room Progress UI did not display branching paths, now correctly showing both options for room choices. [TECH-10790]
  • Fixed an issue where pets would incorrectly teleport to the player’s position when starting to forage, instead of running towards them. [TECH-11000] (reported by user 01JSTSR0PBDDNM0R6GXRJ792RM)
  • Fixed an issue where the pie timer on the ability bar would freeze briefly at the start of the cooldown for Gleam Twins and similar Marksmanship abilities. [TECH-10780]
  • Fixed an issue where the tooltip for the pizza recipe displayed as ‘recipe_pizza’ instead of ‘Recipe: Pizza’. [TECH-11007]
  • Fixed an issue where players in the tutorial could interact with the Relic cube from a distance without needing to approach it, ensuring players now walk up to the cube before it opens. [TECH-11008]
  • Fixed an issue where the Level XP UI was overlapping the network issue icon inside dungeons. The network issue icon now adjusts its position to avoid overlap with other UI elements. [TECH-10854]
  • Fixed an issue where the Reusable Carrot item teleported players to Virelda instead of Homestead, as per its description. [QA-2847] Submitted by PRYNCE-IX.
  • Fixed an issue where user stations could not be powered back on once turned off, despite having multiple generators running. This also included furnaces which required an excessive number of generators to operate. [QA-2759] Submitted by player pranksy.

Balance Changes

  • Added a mechanic to Sandrammers and Armadillos to reduce proximity damage during their charge phase, reducing difficulty for new players facing these creatures in the tutorial. [TECH-10167]
