Cookie Notice
Last updated 12 October 2026
1. What This Notice Covers
This Cookie Notice explains how soulbound.game uses cookies and similar technologies, such as local storage, and how you can control them. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more broadly.
The website is run by Webb Technology Limited, trading as Spiderware (“Spiderware”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 11663507).
2. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Local storage works in much the same way. Some cookies are needed for the site to work. Others are optional, and we only use those if you agree.
3. Your Choices
When you first visit, we ask whether you accept analytics and advertising cookies. Both are off until you say yes, and saying no does not stop any part of the site from working.
- You can change your mind at any time: open cookie settings.
- We remember your choice for 6 months, then ask again. We also ask again if we change this notice in a way that affects your choices.
- If you withdraw consent, we delete the analytics and advertising cookies our site set and stop loading those tools.
- You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, signing in to your account will not work.
4. Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies make the site work, keep it secure, and remember choices you have made. The law allows us to use them without asking, because the site cannot work properly without them.

5. Analytics Cookies (Only With Your Consent)
If you allow analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to see which pages people visit, how they found us and whether they go on to our Steam page, and Pingdom to measure how quickly pages load for real visitors. We use this to improve the site. We do not use it to identify you.
| İsim | Set by | Purpose | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Tells visits apart so we can count visitors | 2 years |
| _ga_<ID> | Google Analytics | Keeps track of your current visit | 2 years |

Google and SolarWinds process this data for us and may transfer it to the United States. Our Privacy Policy explains how international transfers are protected.
6. Advertising Cookies (Only With Your Consent)
If you allow advertising cookies, Google may use them to measure whether people who saw or clicked our adverts went on to visit the site or sign up for our newsletter. We do not show adverts on soulbound.game.
| İsim | Set by | Purpose | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| _gcl_au | Links a visit to an advert you clicked, so we can measure the advert | 90 days |
7. How We Use Google Consent Mode
We use Google Consent Mode. Until you make a choice, Google’s tag does not load at all. If you accept some categories and refuse others, the tag is told which ones you refused and does not set cookies for them.
8. Embedded Videos and Links
- YouTube: some pages include YouTube videos. We show a preview image first, and the video player only loads when you press play. The preview image comes from YouTube’s servers, so YouTube sees your IP address. Once you press play, YouTube may set its own cookies. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
- Other sites: links to Steam, Discord and other sites take you off soulbound.game. Those sites have their own cookie policies.
9. Changes to This Notice
When we add or remove cookies, we update this notice and the “Last updated” date at the top. If a change affects the choices you made, we ask you again the next time you visit.
10. Contact Us
If you have questions about cookies or how we use your data:
- E-posta: [email protected]
If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or to your local data protection authority.
