If Soulbound won’t start or feels sluggish, work through these steps in order — most issues are solved by the first few.
First, the quick fixes
- Fully close and restart the game.
- Restart your computer — this clears a surprising number of issues.
- Update your graphics card drivers to the latest version.
- Make sure your operating system has the latest updates installed.
If you installed via Steam
Use Steam’s built-in repair tool: right-click Soulbound in your library, choose Properties → Installed Files → Verify integrity of game files. Steam will re-download anything that’s missing or corrupted.
Improve performance
- Lower the in-game graphics settings.
- Close other demanding apps running in the background.
- Make sure your device meets the game’s recommended specifications.
