Patch 4 – Instant Gear Crafting and Station Upgrades

Час читання: 4 хвилини

Lots of item fixes, combat logs and combat XP rates have been increased, and group play XP is 2x or 3x.

In this patch, we’ve made significant changes to crafting and skilling. We found that many players were using their homes as factories, turning on different stations to craft more resources.

  • We decided to increase generator output so you don’t have to do that, and you can leave your generators and furnaces running to produce more materials.
  • We’ve cut the cost of crafting all gear and weapons so they craft instantly.
  • We’ve reduced the crafting time to zero for all workbench upgrades. So upgrading your stations no longer takes time and will occur instantly.
  • Along with the cuts to crafting materials, this should make the whole experience feel much more pleasant.

Upon request, we’ve added combat logs. Head to the settings/account menu to enable real-time combat logging, which will write combat log files to the local game data folder. You can then analyse these files to review your combat performance, and we plan to continue improving this function over time! Please keep safe when installing third-party plugins.

We’ve got plenty of other buffs, bug fixes, and polish in this update too, so check out the full details below.

New content and world changes

  • A new high-tier fuel, the Charged Cell, is coming to generators. It produces three times as much power as coal and can be found in T4–T6 hacking nodes.
  • Hacking and mining nodes are now appearing more often, and with higher density.
  • Generators now produce twice as much power at every tier, making factory-style crafting more practical.
  • Station upgrades no longer require waiting, with upgrade timers reduced to zero.
  • Weapon and armour crafting now takes only five seconds across all tiers.
  • Dungeon ore drops have been rebalanced to normalise dungeon rewards.
  • Higher-tier farming now rewards appropriate XP instead of giving less experience than Tier 4 farming. Tier 4-6 seed growth timers have also been adjusted.
  • Bud’s farming requirements for purchasing seeds have been aligned to farming level requirements
  • T5 and T6 stim and elixir recipes now list the correct crafting materials.
  • The weekly commission cosmetic reward has been updated with a new cosmetic set.

Gear, abilities, and combat

  • Experience rates within parties have been increased significantly. Players should find that grouping up is now the most efficient experience farm.
  • Combat skill XP scaling updated, higher tier dungeons reward more XP.
  • Crafted gear is no longer Legendary, due to feedback from last weeks change that devalued legendary dungeon drops.
  • Crafted Celestial Yoku Staffs now match their dropped versions instead of rolling different primary stats.
  • Celestial Greatswords no longer display duplicate legendary effects.
  • Rare and epic Ferrox Braids now have properly different stats.
  • Cascading Power now correctly increases staff relic damage.
  • Kusarigama’s Chain Spread has been repaired.
  • Finnley’s Yoku Magnet now boosts fishing accessory table chances by 2.5% over the standard version.
  • Ethereal Duality now correctly swaps the staff to explosive damage and fires its healing orb.
  • Skill scaling for weapons and abilities has been fixed, players will now deal more damage with higher skill levels.
  • Elite Hovertrix enemies no longer become permanently stuck after being frozen.
  • Cataro Knight attack rings should now appear in the correct positions.
  • The Supporter relic now correctly interacts with support abilities, note that this will still not display in the advanced stats display which will be fixed at a later date.
  • The Cactaro Knight’s unavoidable attack has been reduced in size and he is more easily moved after the attack.
  • The Void Rift ability has been fixed after becoming unavailable or invisible following the previous update.

Quests, NPCs, and dungeon gameplay

  • The fifth Lost Page no longer drops after Mirelle’s quest is complete.
  • Circuit Sleuth IV is now completable via Broken Bots.
  • Blackwake Betty’s Vote now progresses in all relevant dungeon difficulties.
  • Quest markers now disappear after collecting the relevant intel in City of Light and Shadow.
  • The extra mayor in Arcadia has been removed after completing the Diplomatic Relations questline.
  • Virelda’s Chief should no longer appear in two places at once during “Dune It Yourself.”
  • Teleport animations in Tremors MSQ17 should now display on time.
  • Combat rooms should no longer be incorrectly replaced by resource rooms.
  • The Daito blockade can no longer be bypassed using the right-wall route.
  • Abandoning a dungeon run no longer clears infused and food-sickness debuffs.
  • The Arcadia Oni Mask shop stock has been increased to 100 in line with other furniture.
  • Common Ability Core Chests can no longer be rapidly farmed using apartment teleporting.

UI, dialogue, and social features

  • A new dialogue presentation system adds refreshed dialogue boxes, portraits, choice styling, and improved transitions.
  • Quest tracking is now more visible on the map.
  • Honeycomb tooltips now show the correct stamina amount.
  • Magnetism relic text has been renamed to “experience pickup range” to better explain what it does.
  • Trade and Neighborhood chat channels have been removed from the default chat layout, leaving more room for party, guild, whisper, and other useful conversations.
  • Item level calculations have been adjusted to better reflect item power.

Stability and quality-of-life fixes

  • Inventory rollback and synchronisation have been hardened, reducing the chance of gear reverting, disappearing, or being replaced with recall stones.
  • Toolbelt auto-equip duplication involving the Forage Pouch has been fixed.
  • Players who previously logged in without seeing their characters should now load correctly.
  • Fishing with T3+ rods should no longer hide the player’s body.
  • Several client crash scenarios now recover safely instead of closing the game, including issues involving:
    • Lost GUI surfaces after display or window changes
    • Invalid quest-map sprites
    • Network timeout errors
    • Missing projectile children during combat
    • Equipment reloads
    • Missing inventory data during rollback
    • Stale dungeon hitbox data
  • Dexterity XP has been brought in line with other skills when completing the same dungeon content.
  • Wildcard task selectors now behave like proper wildcards instead of accidentally treating task data as regular expressions.

Combat logs

  • Players can now enable real-time combat logging from the settings/account menu.
  • When enabled, the game writes combat log files to the local game data folder.
  • These files can be read or parsed using personal tools and applications to analyse combat performance and events.
  • This is the first version of the combat log format, so the information recorded may change over time as fields are added, removed, or reorganised. Please let us know if there is anything you’d like added (or removed)!
  • A simpler in-game combat metrics interface is planned for a future update, for players who would rather not work with raw log files.
