Update 5.24 – Fixes & Stability

This update focuses on enhancing the overall gameplay experience with a series of quality of life improvements and stability fixes aimed at ensuring a more polished and controlled gaming environment. Players will notice better control over abilities, improved targeting mechanics, and smoother, more intuitive interactions while navigating through various game scenarios. Several issues that previously affected performance, user interface clarity, and gameplay balance have been addressed, ensuring that elements like tooltips, object management, and dungeon functionalities behave as expected. Additionally, adjustments to reward systems reinforce a more balanced in-game economy, contributing to a fairer and more engaging experience.

Improvements

  • Updated in-game store with the new Elven Prince cosmetic set.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where Mining and Foraging tutorial tooltips remained displayed until a new tooltip appeared or the user refreshed the game. Tooltips will now automatically close after completing the objective. [QA-2769]
  • Fixed an exploit where the refresh option in the Task Manager did not consume currency when selecting the Soulbits refresh option. [QA-2766]
  • Fixed an issue where grass objects were being created multiple times in zones, causing performance issues due to accumulated grass not being destroyed when the zone is destroyed. [TECH-10720]
  • Once a dungeon round ends, all abilities will now switch from auto cast to manual cast. This change ensures abilities do not auto-cast unexpectedly between rounds. [TECH-10657]
  • Fixed a text overlap issue in the quest map, where quest objective details would overlap, affecting readability for all quests and tasks. [TECH-10668]
  • Abilities will no longer target mobs that are in their spawn state (red floor marker), enhancing gameplay and improving targeting efficiency by focusing only on ‘alive’ mobs. [TECH-10660]
  • Fixed an issue where requesting a raid session multiple times consumed two keys instead of one, preventing double session requests for enhanced stability. [TECH-10642]
  • Fixed an issue where equipped cosmetic pieces bought from the shop were not displayed as ‘owned’ in the shop interface. [QA-2695]
  • Fixed an issue where abandoned contracts remained displayed in the quest log until the game title was refreshed. [KUDOS-436]
  • Fixed an issue where players could teleport out and back into a dungeon using the ‘Teleport’ button in the event window. This feature is now disabled while in dungeons, ensuring that gameplay within dungeons is uninterrupted. Additionally, the user interface will now close upon dungeon entry and the teleport button will be greyed out with a tooltip indicating it cannot be used inside a dungeon. [KUDOS-411]
  • Fixed an issue where players would continue to move forward automatically after walking through a portal even after releasing the movement key, disrupting the dungeon flow. [QA-2557]
  • Fixed an issue where the game would crash when pets attempted to pick up dropped items. [QA-2760]
  • Fixed an issue causing a delay in the despawn timing of resource nodes, ensuring nodes disappear immediately after collection. [QA-2728]

Balance Changes

  • Reduced the amount of Soulbits obtainable from weekly reward chests. [DES-2859]
